Free, dynamic AI assistant
As a more improved version of Claude, Anthropic’s Claude 2 builds on the same next-generation AI technologies to produce longer responses and less inappropriate answers. It’s currently available for free public use via API and a beta website, although the AI assistant can only cater to users from the United States and the United Kingdom for now.
A better model overall
Not only does Claude 2 serve as a highly conversational and efficient AI assistant, but it can also churn out actually useful answers. To produce a better-functioning model, the previous one has been amped up in terms of coding, math, and reasoning. Input and output length were increased, too.
However, not unlike any other AI model, this one can also give inappropriate or out-of-the-ballpark responses. The probability is considerably lower than that of other models, but it’s still unavoidable. While its free version is only available via registration basis for users in the US and UK, its API can be purchased via subscription packages by businesses.
Useful but with limited public use
In a nutshell, Claude 2 builds on the good aspects of its predecessor and takes them to the next level. It strives to provide an efficient and productive AI assistant, as well as lessened instances of spewing out inappropriate responses. Availability for public use is extremely limited as of now, however.
